good exposure. I really like the way the light plays off that bullet for some reason. the little hotspot and the brass make it look very 3 dimensional and almost surreal.

The shot is very center-heavy and the only thing saving it is the right side offset of the brightly lit bullet. if not for that, it would be borderline "thumbs down".

Good job.

I love it!

How did you manage the smoke effect? Really adds to the dramatic effect of the gun.

Thank you very much , I made smoke by sticking match in the barrel ;)

oh wow that smoke is real? cool I thought you did it in PS. not that it looks like it, but I just figured. Is that a springfield 1911?

If you had just shot the gun, wouldn't the bullet be minus the projectile? I'd get an empty casing and randomly lay it next to the gun. Good concept though.

Smoke was a nice touch :)

You can just make out the "wide body" magazine but pad..
Looks like it's bee around a while too, that's one of the earlier models for sure, before they got all SS and Beavertailed in response to Kimbers etc.. my 16-40 is about the same era. No frills :)

I do like it but I think it would be better without the bullet sitting there

I really like the smoking gun effect, shallow DOF and use of lighting. I'd like to see a version with a casing only, on its side, and in the background in partial lighting.

well done.
