Is there a special trick to get these working?

I've just received my pocket wizard plus 2's from B&H Photo and I am able to trigger my 580's fine, (still can't do the studio strobes as i dont' have a a plug/adapter for the larger sized socket can't remember what size it is), the question is, how do it trigger the pocket wizard thats connected to my 580ex via the L358?

I've got the L358 RT-32 transmitter and i've set the channel to channel 4 (which is where i've got my pocket wizards set to). Now when i press the exposure button, shouldn't it trigger the 580ex?

I know the pocket wizards have different frequencies depending on where they are purchased, but all 3 pocket wizards i have and the rt-32 transmitter was purchased from bhphoto, would having purchased my L358 from hong kong have an effect on the triggering abilities?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Maybe i've missed something, i'm going through the user manuals over and over and i can't find anything.

are you on T mode?

Yeah, when i press mode and turn the dial, it scrolls over to which channel you want, with the channel flashing, and then i select the same channel as the pocket wizards, then i press the mode and dial to the flash and T symbol.

I thought pressing the exposure button should trigger the flash.

Should the pocket wizard be set to remote, both? I've tried them all but still can't get it to work for the life of me... :S ??? :S *confused*

Out of curiousity, what do all you L-358 users have on the back of their manual for the US model.

Mine says:

"Radio & Telecommunications Terminal Department Equipment Directive 1999/5/EC"

"Note: The device makes use of radio frequencey and which is not harmonized throughout the EU"

What do you guys have?
