I drove down to Cedar City in Southern Utah, and we went to Cedar Breaks, basically a mini Bryce Canyon. It was a cloudy, rainy day, but the sun broke out from under the clouds for some awesome late afternoon sun. It was very cold, and started to snow as we left.

What do you think?

I like it, wouldn't mind seeing a little bit more of the sky though. Break it up a bit.

Nice shot of one of my favorite places. We're up that way almost every weekend in the Summer, some terrific hiking around there.

Pretty shot of a pretty place. Despite numerous trips into that general area, I've gone to Cedar Breaks only once. I'll have to fix that.

Nice. Brings back memories. I took a very similar shot about 40 years ago with an Argus C3, AKA the "Brick". No AF, no AE, just f8 and 500th sec and let her rip. Your clouds are much nicer tho. Course my color is toast after all these years, but it was very close to what you have here.

Very nice capture here, looks like an amazing place! I love the dark clouds (I agree, would be nice to have a bit more of them in here) along with the bright sunlight on the rocks. Nice job with this.

I like Chandler. I like how you composed this shot. This made me look at the bottom first. Than it lead my eye on the way up. Well done!

i think its breathtaking and beautiful - no blown highlights, rich colours, the sky really sets off the rocks and the cloud matches the white areas on the ground - excellent work
