print problem with PS elements

When I open a file in photo shop elements and try to print I get the following error-
Cannot print
Initialization error
The error code is 10
-any ideas?

A silly question really, but just incase - Can you print from other packages OK ?

If it's just Elements, then you've probably got the old AWO error = "A Weird One" :)

Try the usual things - un-install Elements, delete any files left in the Elements directory (taking a copy of any actions, filters etc. you may want to keep or havn't already got backups of), and then re-install Elements.

If you can't print at all, then try downloading the latest printer drivers from your manufacturers web site and installing those.

If neither of those work, post the details of your exact machine spec along with operating system, printer make/model etc.
