Man, these are nice. I really like the woodstar and the turtle. :)
Shot with the Bigma? I can't tell anymore by looking at the EXIF. :)

Thanks Mitch.... Bailey, Woodstar, and Heron with Bigma.... The others with 100-400 with TC... I am bringing both lenses with me now.... They both have strengths, and it is nice to have them to switch back and forth to.... The 100-400 with TC has better Bokeh with less space needed between subject and background.... The bigma shoots a tad sharper, and shows a bit better contrast... Both set ups are worth having, with me.... Take care brother.... BTW You are settling into the 1D nicely....

Well, I always said, you've got the sharpest 1-4 L IS I've seen. If the Bigma can get close to that, it's doing good. :)
Yea, we still got rain, but they say Saturday will show some sun. I'm planning on getting down to the wetlands for the day for some longer distance tests with the 300 and both TC's. I think I have all the custom functions set now to my way of shooting, and man, that 45 point AF is just too cool. I've got all the custom functions set up for that too. I had to set the AI Focus Sensitivity back to two though, where it works amazingly well. It was on 4 and that was causing a little chatter in the 300. What a wonderful thing to be able to adjust that. Still finding new stuff. ;)

Hi Ruth :) :) Glad you liked the series :) Bailey is a peach of a dog :) I'm glad he has decided to hang with me:) I was chuckling watching the turtle yawn... The timing worked out well as I was already focused on it and he performed beautifully :)... Thanks pal..... I really appreciate your view, and nice comment ;)....

Thanks for the nice comment Bill.... Some of us get a lot of practice due to cooperative weather 300 days a year.... It helps... I would love to see how your Tokina lens does.... I understand they are a very well made sharp lens. The Turtlebird, Cicada Dove, and Pitbull Tanager are very rare..... If yu get the chance to take shots of them I strongly recommend it ;) ;)..... Take care Bill...
