I went to go buy one at the book store and they had so many. Which one is the best to get?

First suggest search some good threads on here already. Also depends on what you are looking for. Some are geared toward commercial, nature, gear, post processing. But do a search and will will uncover a wealth of info.

I read Outdoor Photographer! That's the only good one I get over here. Oh and occasionally I'll thumb thru B&W.

Popular Photography, Outdoor Photography, and Rangefinder. Considering Shutterbug, too.

I would say that the DIGITAL PHOTO - UK is one of the best, it comes with a CD loaded with VIDEO tutorials. I subscribed to the PopPhoto.com as well.

I have Shutterbug, 75% of the mag are ads, where my inspiration comes from :)

Only if you live in the US/Canada for Rangefinder...not sure on Shutterbug or Pop Photo, never looked at them.
I generally find most magazines are very repetitive, and not always accurate in their advice. Looking at several magazines 'articles' on macro photography, I had to laugh at their advice. Magazines serve solely to entice people to buy gear, which is why the magazines get premium feees from the major camera companies for adverts...I'm always distrustful when money becomes involved in media. People are so gullible when it comes to believing the mass media...
In all honesty, you're better off reading POTN on a regular basis, posting images, and maybe borrowing some basic books on Photography from your local library. Oh, and get out and actually shoot. That helps ;)

Rangefinder is a very good magazine and it's free. You'd never guess it from the appearance and quality of print and images. There are always great articles and features with professional photographers.
I enjoy the ads because there is such a difference seeing some of the gear in print, as opposed to online and on web sites.

LOL and we're not all Yankees either (spoken w/a twang and I had to stop mid sentence to spit some tobacco)

I'll second Rangefinder. I find the information passed along to be quite useful, and the bios on pro photogs are rather inspiring. The photos are pretty awesome and inspiring as well.

I'd recommend Outdoor Photographer and ShutterBug. Popular Photography has nothing but junk articles, quick fix items and "lists" all not real informative knowledge but floosey columnists ideas. Much like reading posts on forums.

I just ordered a sub to shutterbug. It was pretty cheap, cheaper than buying in the store. I do like getting the Digital Photography mag from the UK. At 14$ it is a bit expensive.
