Seeing a recent post reminded me of a photo I took a few months ago when back home in Cornwall.
6024 King Edward I wearing "The Great Britain", Penzance-Bristol - April 07 2007 Taken at St Germans station. This train comes through the village every few months, but I never had the camera when I was there.

Hi Rich;
Aaaah - more great memories of my childhood!
I can remember being able to walk around Old Oak Common yards when I was a whipper-snapper, when the Kings, Castles & Manors were all around & about and nobody paid you any attention...
Great capture...
Cheers;
Lee

I'm hoping it will be memories for my two boy s (4, and 8) who I took to see it, they loved it so much, we went on a steam train ride the following weekend from Buckfastleigh;

Lovely shot, and I mean no offence by this, but it looks like a toy :)

Very nice! The little tiny bit of panning really helps to make it pop.

Thanks for comments, I can see the 'toy like' look.
to be fair I exected it to just trundle through the station slowly, but it actually came flying through at a right rate of knots!
I used a Sigma 24-70, at a shutter speed of approx 1/250

Don't take my comment as a critisism - I think it's a cracking shot :)
