Is there a reason. can anyone help?It seems over-compressed. The image you posted was only 47kB. I'd expect an image that size to be 100-200kB.

Yup bilbo ur up and now the resize issue.
all I do in CS2 is open the image window then image size.drop the image size to 800and then save when the next window comes up I set it at 4 and hit save and then its done.

use the save for web feature. And then adjust the quality slider (1-100 instead of 1-10) until its below 100k. it will usually produce a much better looking image.
