Thanks, I wish I could carry here, the lack of CCW laws is one of the things I hate about Illinois, although I do have a out-of-state carry permit from Utah in case I do some traveling.

If I could carry here I would, I see this question a lot and the only decent answer I can think of is that, while I would never start a day expecting to need a gun, there's always that tiny chance that something will happen, and I like to be prepared for anything. Also, I'm not currently a cop, but I'm aiming to become one in the coming year or so.

Everything in the image is plastic, the little thing peeling is EXTREMELY thin (much less than paper thin) and flakes off when peeled at.

That CD is a throwaway I must have burned a couple months ago. I use it as a coaster. Since ALL I drink is water, I think I might have a problem with the air in my room... the "coaster" gets soaked in condensation from the bottle but I have a very high doubt that WATER can completely soak through plastic and eat away at metal with no agitation at all.
