Smirnoff Ice, the strawberry flavored one....many bottle caps left over from a party I had a couple weeks back....which were collected by a friend after I took pictures :lol:.

Ahh... I've seen the Smirnoff stuff on TV but never had it myself.
I've got one if no one else does. I did this for one of my co-workers this week for a game of sorts they'll have next week. One person recognized it right away, but others were stumped. We'll see how you folks on the forum do.

That's a nut, but the "knurled" part is the part with the grip on it in the diamond pattern.

I'm about to call it a night, but I'll leave you with a little hint. These things are normally found outside, and what you see in in the pic is obviously a small part of a larger object, but there are many of these things on the larger object.
Hope that's enough of a hint yet sufficiently vague to keep you thinking...

-it's not a nut
-it's normally found outside
-it's not a thorn but can sometimes be a bit sharp
-the image is but a small part of the overall object, but there are many of these small parts on the main object
-it's not a stick, but I guess it can be considered "woody"
And a new hint... I don't think these are found in tropical areas, but I know they're widespread across the US and Canada. I haven't been to Europe, but I'm pretty sure they're found there too.
