That's so weird, now that you say that, I see the object differently. At first I though it was convex, now I see that it's concave. Is it some sort of mask or filter?

Not a shoe, as far as embroidery or woven I will say that it is made by machine. It is a woven material that is all by itself. Think woven like the cloth of a shirt (which this is by far not even close to)

I also will be working this weekend so forgive me if I don't get back right away. I can look from work, but I never know when things will kick off crazy so just putting it out there.
