Hoping I get this right...
I suppose trees could be considered something with a low carbon footprint, since they typically remove CO2 from the atmosphere and lock it within their structure.

My simple understanding of High key is basically white on white and overexposed. They generally have a white or blown out exposure for the background and white or light clothes or subject. The image is overexposed a stop or two to retain some tonality but at the same time blow out the background and make the subject sort of float in the image.

My simple understanding of High key is basically white on white and overexposed.
It's usually overexposed, but it isn't supposed to be. High key just means it's pretty much all whites.

:p.We have a large trailer(for semis) here for holding packing materials etc for the moving biz, I do sales through the week, and drop off packing for folks who book moves with us. It is situated under (now) fir trees, and the platform is a large plywood pallet..when it gets wet, and the slime gets going, it is like an ice rink. I knew it was slippery, so I thought tossing down a flat 2cube box would at least give me some footing to grab the boxes and toss them in the truck........
Not. Went arse over you know whats.......and landed on my back and the head did a hockey bounce.twice.....
Hurt like Hades.but I did deliver the boxes.idiot I am...then drove home like I was a drunk on a mission of slow driving......the depth perception was a tad off.but it was all back roads:confused:
ANd this morning.......lol.while I am ranting....I found that a heron had eaten and maimed most of my koi..I had it all netted etc, but he found a hole and dined at his leisure.I hate these last two days:(

Don't know if you'd call it unusual, but I was trying to play with the fairly minimal dof at f/1.8 when 'Nifty' visited me in January.
