Getting within five or six feet (two meters) to shoot a close-up shot of this 12+ foot alligator out in the wild was quite dangerous.

When comparing the merits (whatever they may be) of two or more things (whatever they may be) and one of the things is much better than the other(s), it is quite normal (in the UK) to say that the other(s) are "not a patch" on the best one. I have no idea what the derivation of this is, but it is in very common usage.

Here is a filling of the request for presents under the tree----This is my son Thomas, under a tree in our backyard. He is wearing a helmet I received as a Christmas gift about 30 years ago. His gloves were a gift that his older brother received a few years ago. So here you have it, a real stretch of presents under the tree!!

Awesome!!! I use to race up until 2000 and then I took a bad fall and could never get over the mental scaring from it so I hung up my helmut....lol.

For nationals, they are held by AMA.local CMA.each town has its own chapter. He is just 10 now.and he is racing kids that are 13-14, and winning! He has no fear.although my sister cringes when she sees kids wipe out.she does the First Aid on track some times.
