The Appalacian Mountain behind my parents house in NJ. Parents have passed, and house has been sold, but this mountain always has a special place in my heart. This photo was taken the last hike up there.

Point Fermin Lighthouse in San Pedro, Ca. This lighthouse holds special significance for me because I trained in it prior to deploying to Vietnam in 1967. It currently serves as the residence of an official with the LA City Parks Department.

I couldn't find the one I was looking for, but this is another favorite of mine... His name was Puppy and he died in 1999 (the photo was taken with my very first digital camera, a Casio QV-10, whose native image size was 320x240 -- this isn't a thumbnail!)

I had to go a long way back in my archives for this one... I remember shaking a bush so the berries would fall to the ground for this chicken that was following me around the ranch at the Strathearn Historical Park.
