Has anyone ever signed up for meetup.com and looked for photography meetups in your area? I signed up a while back but no one was meeting and then the last 2 times they met up I was either busy or working. I was just curious if people used meetup.com at all. I am in the St. Louis MO. are. I hope to get to meet up soon at one of the local meets.

... but most likely it's something else, not related to L lenses at all :cry:

otherwise, I found it a tad lacking in content (at least for us Europeans...)

Penguin101 hey I never thought of CC Camera.... I am actually in IL. (Metro Area) just across the river from St. Louis... But we have a CC Camera in Il and also the one in Creve Coure wich is close to my work. I work in Earth City. I am new to photography and I am looking for ways to learn more ... Like this forum. I own a Canon 300 DR kit. I had a Olympus 3000Zoom as my 1st digital camera but used it more for just snap shots. Now Iwant to learn since I have a decent camera.

There is CC Cam in Chesterfield, CC, St. Charles, and somewere else. There is a Wolf Camera in Chesterfield mall also.

Thanks Andy. Yes they are Nitro powered 2 stoke offroad buggies and very fast and jump high. I need to practice on the panning technique.

i don't use any IM's. i'll email or PM you about next weekend. maybe we can get penguin to go too. as far as camera shops, try Schillers. they're on Manchester in Brentwood. they got lots of L glass.
