Please don't laugh at this question.
At the face of it, it may sound like an English language question. Maybe it is.
I have an issue with people using the words "photo" and "picture" interchangeably. I do that myself at times, but I don't think it's right.
Won't tell why I have an issue with that so as not to lead people in thinking one way or the other.
Please share your thoughts on the subject.

Now you are talking. You da man!
Really, some people have some great photos here. To call them "pictures" would be almost like an insult to them.

In Hollywood, they try to make motion pictures. They don't call them motion photographs.

That's why the quality is...umm...questionable, to say the least.

A camera takes a picture. A picture taken with a camera is a photograph. So all photographs are pictures but not all pictures are photographs. It's just a matter of how specific you want to be with words. Why get hung up on the usage of the words when the implied meaning can be inferred. Neither words imply quality of content as far as I'm concerned. It's just a matter of semantics.
