Critique?? nope, just too d*** good for me to pick up anything. :) :)

Can't imagine trying to shoot at 300 mm without a tripod let alone with children on hip one handed!

These are fantastic Ann, the leopard shot is simply awesome, the lighting and expression give it that "I may be in here, but your still food" look.

Keep the photos coming, I enjoy them immensely.

Hi,
fantastic shots, and with pretty standard gear too (same as mine).
did you post process the flower? it has some interesting lighting.
thanks for sharing these, really nice.

Beautifull shots.. Wish the lighting had been better for the Camel.. as the Leopard and Zebra both have WONDERFULL amazing light and shadows on them... and the flower is of course positively glowing.

Great work

all i did to the flower was clone out one otehr small flower barely showing in the upper corner. it was annoying the lighting is direct over head light from the sun i had to climb on a bench to get high enough to photograph the flower.

wish could have gotten it done without the need for the clone spot but well they wouldnt move to my will ya know how flowers are lol

yeah the poor camel i mostly like the pic cause he looked so sad and tired.

he was in total shade so not great light,

THANKS to everyone for the comments.

I have only had my camera for a few months and already have taken 2305 photos

probably not much to most of you though

cant wait to go back we take kids every week we have a yearly pass

not a big zoo but for kids this young its fine they never see more than a quarter in one trip so we always start somewhere different
