Probably should have had a slower shutter speed - with a helo, the blur of the rotors adds action. Looks a little awkward just hangin' there. Not a bad shot otherwise.

Size ratio looks wierd. Must have used a telephoto with the helo being much closer. Looks like the helo could pick up 3 of the boats at one time if it had to.:)

well the camera was on auto so it did all the work
plu it was just my point and shoot camera
the helo was just that close to me

Well I like it. The scale differences happening just from perspective is really cool. Blur could always be added to the rotors/blades if deemed absolutely necessary. Looks very much like a model/toy scene from a toy store display. Thats cool to me. :)

no model, this was taken in japan, I was the flight deck of the USS Ronald Reagan, pulling into Sasebo, Japan. The boats were protesters, not wanting a nuclear carrier pulling in, wich is normal pulling into port in Japan.
I love the fact that the helo looks like it is suspended in air.

I didnt say it ACTUALLY was models. I said it was cool because thats what it resembled. :)
