Paintball...first time shooting raw

Today sucked so I figured I would try shooting RAW. Also got bored of always doing color, so I tried some black and white. I am not happy with todays pics at all, but it was good day to start shooting in RAW.

If this was me, id be happy with them. I think they are great shots. To me, theres not much to practice when shooting raw. Thats all i shoot, and thats what i started with. I guess it just takes some getting used to.

dsul...yeah it was punishers, philly was done practicing by the time i got there at 10
knockout...yeah just different when it comes to editing...need to work on black and white conversions

In terms of black and white conversion they look good to me, could probably use a tad more contrast to make them "pop" a little more.

great stuff Brad, I shoot a practice this weekend with my 40d set to greyscale and really liked how they turned out. I had heard that you went over to the Smart Parts complex this weekend from a friend of mine that was there and am planning a trip out there next year (when it warms up!)

yeah it was such a waste of a day.Philly only practiced from 8-10, and when I get there at 10:30 punishers were just about to finish up. Then there were no other teams. You would think the weekend before world cup, at a xball dominated field there would tons of xball teams lol.

ya I got lucky being able to shoot Dynasty and Ironmen on Saturday, damn pros are so spoiled these days.
