I have been doing a couple of pre-schools over the last several years and have been creating my own order form and ordering through MPIX and putting together the packages on my own. This year I have tripled the number of pre-schools I am doing and it is clear that this process, while still manageable will quickly become very burdensome if I get anymore, which I intend to do.

Can anyone recommend the following:

Any type of software to manage the picture day process? I have found a company called Giant Leap Solutions but don't know if it is a good solution.

Also, I would really like to find a software package that would send the entire order to a print house and be able to receive back complete packages. I know MPIX doesn't offer this. I am looking into Millers and WHCC.

My plan is to expand from pre-schools to grade schools next year and I know I will need a lot more automation to handle it.

Any advice/input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Tim

I heard Millers does it but it's not cheap, personally for me I would do all the backend work myself or hire someone to do it for me. Order all the supplies myself and put the packages together - it's a lot more time and effort but it's cheaper and if you're a perfectionalist like me you don't worry as much, ha. I do this with sports pics right now though I'm also looking for good ideas to stream line better and make things smoother.
