Hi,

I'm putting together a montage for the coach of a local soccer club and would like some feedback on layout, style, pictures used, etc before it gets printed. I have tons of shots to choose from, and can do some reformatting before it goes to print.

I'd say the "Ashburn Soccer Club 2007" text isn't very legible. Maybe leave it out altogether? Or put a "2007" under the logo?

Otherwise, I'd say it's pretty neat!

Great! I like it. Scorpio's right though. The club title is hard to read against the white background. Perhaps change the colour of the print.

If you want to try something a little different, use a less formal layout. Try jiggling the photos around with some on an angle and some overlapping and some at differing sizes. Kinda like a noticeboard. Just a suggestion.

You might also want to replace top row third along - the unattached leg looks a bit odd.

OK, I reworked it a bit...

I agree that we need to get rid of that 3rd pic on top with the detatched leg...Doing that tonight.

I like that you changed the font color to match the team's colors. And I think that the rearrangement worked out in your favor.

Yeah, I like the new vewsion much better! You can see the logo clearly, it's readable, and having the pano on its own row (and bigger?) makes it much more impactful- it's a great shot.

You need to enlarge the length of the center image, when you do this, it will in turn center the the logo in between the above and below shots...Basically the centre image needs to be pulled across to the end of the images above and below.

Hi Phil,

Thanks for pointing that out. I noticed it was cut a bit short on the right but I'm hoping the other parents won't mind it...Since there is no more picture to the right or left, resizing the picture itself would mean resizing the whole montage and it needs to go to the printer tonight. :-/
