View Full Version : Captured flag in a glass of water

I played with the glass and various backgrounds a few weeks ago, and this is the result.
I used ef 70-200 f4, two flashes, one for bg and one for the glass. The glass was about 15 inches away from the bg.
Share your thoughts, please...

Nice... the only thing that I notice is that there's three colours in the glass and only two in the background - seems slightly unbalanced! Don't know how you could fix that or if it's even important.. I think you captured something nice here as it stands :)

Looks great to me, it oes seem as if the glass is leaning a bit.

Great idea. Simple and crisp. I don't know that the three colors in the glass is off balance with the two color background; I like it just like it is.

PERFECT!!! Great choice of glass! And, although I appreciate Jim's point with the 3 vs. 2 colors, I like how it leaves the viewer with that how-did-he-do-that feeling. Great shot!
