Hi All.

I want to make sure I understand.

Canon EF 2.8 L lenses, like the 70-200 L, can open up to 2.8 at any focal length right? I can take a shot at 2.8 at 70, 135, 200, whatever?

This is different from the other lenses that have a smaller maximum aperture at longer focal lengths, like the 100-400 L IS right?

Thanks

YUP! :)

In fact, a constant-aperture zoom is what the word "zoom" used to mean. Anything that is not constant-aperture is not a REAL zoom...
