The "least terns" are tiny.. and too fast!

Needed my long lens.. but here's what I got with the 100-400mm...

Some Diving Action.

Pretty cool. #2 is great.

I guess you're excused for not hunkering down in the bushes.

Then again, you won't find me "becoming one with the terns" - that's wrong.

woow. Great shots. I assume this stuff is VERY difficult to capture. (a small bird free-falling).
I should try this some time. I did have the initiative one day, but the damned mosquitos chased me away.

Nice pictures CDS - especially the last one. :D

Quick question: They seem a little grainy - is that just because you shrunk them down so much?

Wow, nice dive bomb sequence, CDS. Good thing you didn't get bombed yourself, eh? Or did you (by a swallow)?

I think I over compressed them.. on top of that.. the forum and Fotopic don't get along any more.. so most images get a second "squeeze" here...

Clicking the image should give a better quality (though not really any larger) pic.

The first image is actually being BLOWN UP :( :( :(

I've been happy with Photobucket.com since I moved there.
