Flute close-up...nifty fifty+kenko tube

Took this shot for my photography class, using my nifty fifty + a 12 kenko tube. Might be my eyes, but I was struggling in finding [manual] focus. I was already at f/22, but i just couldn't widen the depth of field. Thoughts, please?

It doesn't really do anything for me right now, however I think this might look nice in Black and White.

I agree the B/W looks better. The blue in the color version is confusing.

Very nice. Chrome just screams to be in b&W.
