Well even at that, $150 isn't quite what it was then. And I thought he was going to give it to her for free.

27 years... so over the next few years they still couldn't put together $150 to get their album? wow. That would be just 13 cents a day for 3 years, or about $4.25 a month, which is about 1/3rd of what people spent on coffee back then. I saved more than that over 4 years with my $1 a week allowance starting when I was 7.

sorry, the cynic comes out.

I'm sure there's a good lesson in here somewhere. Something we could tell potential clients that don't put much thought into paying for good photography. "You may not think they're important now, but in 27 years you'll want them!"

Yeah, but hopefully they're not going into the wedding thinking about divorce and I'm not the one that's going to plant that seed.
