I've has to spend the entire day out of the house today (coz we're having our bathroom re-done), so I decided to have a photography day....

Some great pics there! I take it you didn't go on the big wheel and take some pics from the top?? ;) And where were numbers 3 and 4 taken?
I've lived in Manc for years but never actually snapped pics in town!

well I went to Uni there, but never really stopped to take photos.
3 and 4 were on Oldham st... near affleck's palace.
and I did go on the big wheel ;)- scary!

really like these, great mix that shows it was a 'walkaround' day...my fave is the one of the narrow street with the guy half hidden by the doorway, having a fag....nice comps on all too....shame you cut the poor little doggy's tail off though lol.

Im in Manchester every day of the week pretty much and I've photographed every corner there is, but you have still found something new I havent seen!! :) Well done!

Great series. Did you ask to take her picture in the last one? What lens did you use?

An excellent series Emma! You certainly got a lot of keepers on a single day. My favorites are 2, 6 and 8 - 2 for being a great street capture, 6 for the dramatic mood of the sky and reflections, and the last for having a timeless air about it. Great job.
