how to reduce partial highlight on image?

hi folks,

i took some shots of bathroom of the hotel i was staying last week, but floor and surface is very reflective, so there is a partial highlight spot on the photo, does anyone know methods to reduce just the highlight without affecting the rest of picture in PSCS?

What I usually do when I have "hot spots" on people's faces from using the flash is to use a paint brush set at 30 to 50% opacity and paint away the highlights. The color I select is from the part of the face close to where the hot spot is. Maybe this technique can also be applied in your situation.

BTW, the same process can be achieved using the healing tool but I like the paint brush better.
