First time posting pictures here. These aren't my greatest but it was requested I post them so here they are. C&C them, chew em up and spit em out. The sky was blown out for me all day -- I messed something up. Wasn't the greatest of days to be shooting either, here they are anyway.

#3 is my favourite and that's why I put it last. Trying to salvage the day basically. Post-processing was done using some presets for Lightroom, I'm just getting into the post-processing so if there's any Lightroom tips out there fire them my way.

Thanks for looking.

Wow! I think they're great!

I'd hang them on my wall!

Good job!

Hi Cujo.

1 never did load for me,

I do like 3, I hope Stu gets to see them when he gets back, he's been doing some awesome skylines of Cleveland.

2, yeah, that sky is really whited out..did you bring the exposure down and add blacks to it? I'm sure you did, sometimes there is nothing you can do. I hate those kind of days..ICk...

but, you got out there and shot, and that is good.

Love the composition in #2, I'd just want to try and boost the contrast abit

Thanks for the comments guys. I'll try to tweak them some more when I get more time. Semi rushed tonight but wanted to get them up for that initial feedback to make me not feel useless ;)

Leesa, the first one is also on my Flickr stream if you want to check it out there. On #2 when I bring the exposure down and blacks up I lose the details of the underside of the bridge and it became a black blob, so it was black blob and sky or white haze and bridge I'll keep tinkering though as PPing is newish to me.

Chandler.

I like #2 but I agree that it could be improved.

By the way, I think it's "Dam" not "Damn" ;)

HAHA it is. But Damn works as well when the shot isn't how you see it. But that's me trying to save face. You're right.

I like number 1, a lot.

Number two, while a great vantage point and one I've been wanting to do under the George Washington Bridge which links New York and New Jersey, it suffers from either lack of contrast as stated or flare, perhaps a combination of both.

Number three is a fine shot.

Thanks for the comments Mark. I'm going to try to tweak #2 on the weekend.
