This is comet Holmes during its recent burst of brightness.

Nice. Can't wait for the smoke to clear out so I can get out there. Heard it should stay bright for awhile but this Comet is unpredictable. Again nice capture.

Sorry to hear about the trials you guys are going through in Cali.
Its becoming a "all to regular" event for you guys.
I hope it clears soon.

I had a small break in the clouds last night so I drug my Astronomy equipment out and connected the 40-D to my smallest 66mm scope.
I hope to get some high powered shots tonight through my 11" SCT.

Keeping fingers crossed and equipment ready.
