i love the feeling of this pic, it provokes curiousity... makes me wonder who lives/lived there and makes me want to go inside!!!

thanks jenny,, I thought it was kinda weird that the windows and doors seem to slope, it was on somewhat of a incline, the light is hanging upside down,, doesnt look like they ever ise that door because of the plant growing there and just how close the door is to the road.

I like all these shots but on the first, tho' not 'natural' I would ensure the slope and angle is perfectly square. The composition will improve IMO.

This is in St Augustine Florida, the oldest inhabited city in the USA,

I run my own construction business, the only reason that door would be so slanted is that the road goes away. But when you mentioned that is the oldest inhabited city well then the door is just old! If you go inside have fun! I would love to see more pictures of that!
OHH to have fun with the city inspectors- you guys let that pass? haha.

Jim, I simply adore that old house. I want to go and hang out in the back yard:) All of the shots are great, but the side view with the trellis is stunning. Great job!!!
