Looks like there is a lot of noise in that picture for those conditions. What ISO did you shoot at?

ISO=400
It was much darker than it seems from the pic, I took this right in the middle of 3 of the socal fires. I was too optimistic about the smoke clearing, it came back ;)
I forgot the tripod, but then I didn't find the noise to be that bad. I would say only place it really sticks out is on the front bumper. Where else do you see it?

Road looks like it carries the same noise pattern but thats prob due to my screen.
I would honestly say try the same shot out in a wide open space, get down a bit lower and keep the wheels straight.

I'd have cropped it tighter, but some days you just have to say the hell with reality?

I'm thinking of a different angle to showcase more of the car...

Yeah I dont care for this position... Not sure how to improve, but this isn't doing it for me... I agree with the noise as well... I see quite a bit, but it could be my screen as well...

bring out the tripod next time... looks like it was underexposed and you lightened it

How did u know I forgot it?
The exposure was actually fine, but the clouds and smoke together were really filtering the light weirdly. Doesn't matter, guess there's no saving the pic, better ones are soon to come :)
