very nice shot. the top is fine without cropping it. nice shadow under the bike
on the original picture I wonder is there any more space to the right
the wide white roof on the left could be got rid of and a little more space to the right of the bike... if its possible.

nah, that was Russ. I use that lens but with a 30D. Even so, lighting in there is sooooo bad without flash that even the 2.8 and high ISO doesnt' cut it.

drop me a line when you are going to be heading up there next and maybe we can hook up for a ride, a shoot, maybe some beers with the crew after.

Not me, I live in Australia :p. Big fan of the USB frames, though. A guy down this way has a Molly and it's so nice... His build is perfect, too.

Yea, we'll have to meet up there sometime.....i haven't tried taking any shots inside of rays, i don't have a "fast" lense for indoors like that......maybe my flash will work though, we'll see

that 50 would actually be pretty nice in there. you'd have to prefocus it a bit as I have never found the AF on those to respond too quickly but the 1.8 and a flash would be pretty nice there. I'm riding Chenga 57 tomorrow (bmx bike, not the USB this time) and will probably be at Rays sometime this weekend. Ill pm you my cell so you can just buzz me if you are heading there.
