Hi All
First visit to Lydden Hill and I can vouch for the fact that this is nice circuit to go to.
Met up with Joffan for a brief chat and saw him in action, I think he only attracted one crash lol!
This was also the first outing with my 40D with the express purpose of trying the AI servo 'quality' suffice to say it performed way better than my 350D in that department. I took a shed load of images and have finished the cull (unusables [OOF/cut off frames/ camera shake etc], speculatives [those that may be worth another look], "others" i.e. those that are good but of limited merit or are simply dups from a sequence (e.g. plenty of panning shots of the various cars) and lastly the 1st choices (NB There may be some more but it is late!)
NB All taken with the Canon 70-300 IS USM
I have uploaded 17 to Flickr here http://flickr.com/photos/8068474@N05/sets/72157602746229436/
But here are a select few to embed here but feel free to llink to any of the others and post here if you want?

There were I think 4 incidents of which I only grabbed these two very mild ones ~ the others were significant tyrewall lovetaps.

And this guy overcooked it but managed to limp back to the pits for at least one new tyre and when seen again had the For Sale sign in the window!!!
