I agree, I have seen it in pictures on a sunny day, but I like this atmosphere the best.

Should have said only the first 5 were on the Airshow. the remainder are just from work or I should say outside the fence after work

yup

outside the fence...

I guessed they were a different day - we had the C17 fly into Fairburn when it was new (to AUS) - crappy day and the fence security were pretty agitated. I guess they didn't like being called border patrol. It was a no pic day here :)

I have a few spots outside the fence but the security guys will come along. Apparently some have been asked to delete shots before. I think I'd be saying no outside the fence on public property.

Apparently the C17 is already out of production due to lack of international sales. Great we get screwed again.

We have 2 or 3 more to arrive, too!

They were all secondhand, though, from what I read.

Yeah we bought 4
So 3 to come.
Still we needed something to carry the M1 Abrahams. Again another muffed up military contract.
Lets' buy 2nd hand M1's. Then they arrive and we don't have the lifting capacity on the dock to get them off the ship.
Who writes our contracts?
I'm sure I could do a better job
