My 430ex flash died on me. After firing several full power bursts, it would no longer recycle. Turned off and on, changed batteries, but still nothing. LCD screen works, but no flash. This SUCKS!:(

Sorry to hear about that, it does happen though - go easy on the full power! :)
The bad thing about flashes is that they'll willingly do as you command, even firing repeatedly at max output, up to the point where they cook themselves.
Another friend of mine here on POTN let go ~40 shots in a row recently and popped his 580EX...he wasn't even using full power..
Have a word with Canon, they may be able to replace the flash tube. I am quite sure this is not the first time it's happened on their flashes.. I bet many working pros run the flashes to their demise too.

Sounds like the bulb went out call Canon on Monday morning and order a new one.
Then google how to replace it. There is a few threads here at potn about this very thing.

EricYou guys are supposed to tell me about the magic reset button, which fixes it.:( Thanks for the advice. It is still under warranty, so I'll probably send it off.
