I read the features list and it looks pretty impressive. I may just have to download it when I get some time to play with it. I haven't upgraded PSP in a while, now - perhaps it's time.

I've been using PSP8 and love it this one sounded so good I put in my pre-order, I've you're a PSP user at least PSP 8 you can get 9 for $49.?? plus free shipping. somewhere I saw that if you order PSP 8 they'll upgrade you to 9 when the start to ship in Sept.

I've tried out PSP 8 and thought it was great, more powerful and user-friendly than Photoshop Elements 2.0. There were, however, a few essential things that I missed in it, the most important one is colour management. PSP 8 does have some very basic colour management, but it's too basic to be of any use. I haven't tried out the beta of PSP 9 yet, but I don't see any improvement in colour management or support for 16-bit editing in the feature list. There are some other features that do sound very interesting such as the Digital Camera Noise Removal Filter, Chromatic Aberration Removal Filter and the ability to read RAW files.

If you have PS Elements 2.0, you can also upgrade to Photoshop CS for $299 (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=39781). The full Photoshop CS is much more powerful than PS Elements 2.0 and PSP 8 or 9.

I thought I had read in one of there reviews that it supported 16-bit I could have misunderstood.
