So, I just picked up a new Powershot SD870 IS yesterday and it came with the newest Zoombrowser 6 which also uses a new version of the "CameraWindow" program. Now, I've been using the Canon software for many years, and have owned quite a few Canons, but the new CameraWindow seems like a huge step back from the previous versions. Now it loads up with two separate black windows with thumbnails on the left window and and a preview on the photo on the right, all with cryptic looking icons and no text menus. There is no information about the highlighted picture selected and I can't even find a way to delete photos from the camera now.
Anyone else using the new version? Is there something I am missing, or is this it?
I tried using the old 5.8 version with my camera but it wouldn't seem to work.
