usb instant dvd

Hello and good morning i purchased awhile back some thing called (usb instant dvd) it converts your videos in to dvd movies,u can burn what u make from the software u get using a cd-rw u can convert vhs to dvd mpeg-2,mpeg-1 vcd or scvd.I have a nero cd-rw 8432E and was wondering if any one has any idea how when i use my cd-rw to use these features how to get the codec i need to use the mpeg-2.I tried the program and got frustated with cause it said i need a codec for it but couldn't figure out how to get,so if any one has a nero out PLEASE any help would be good.
