Apparently I've become a 'Top Contributor'. Suddenly I've started feeling all mature and from now on I solemnly promise to dispense with flippant commentary and focus on weighty intellectual criticism.

One question remains unanswered - will this make my photos any better? I suspect I know the answer to that one :(

No, the process actually works in reverse. The more time you spend posting in the forum, the less time you have to use your camera.

Generally speaking, people with over 3,000 posts can't even remember where their cameras are stored.

I got a practical demonstration of my failing memory in action recently. I sold my remaining 10D, and spent almost the entire day yesterday trying to round up the extra bits and pieces that came with it when it was new. The biggest problem was the USB cable (which I never use). I have boxes and boxes full of extra cables for the computers, cameras, televisions, etc.. I am astounded that I eventually found it. The video cable was still in its plastic bag. What is that for, anyway?

What were we talking about?
Who am I?

Who are all you people?

Now don't quote me on this but, I think the video cable is for hooking the camera to the TV and watching a slide show. Talk about HIGH resolution images.

Which isn't bad on a HDTV. I did just that at my friend's place (who actually has HDTV) and the images were pretty good. They look a little (a lot) grainy on my trusty old standard TV though.
