I just bought a G5. My old point n shoot Nikon has date/time stamp feature. Does the G5 have a similar feature?

all the photos have the date and time in the metadata of the file. I believe there are programs that will pull it and watermark it on the image... but I don't know which.

if you print using the canon easy printer software or zoombrowser I think you can get the date stamp. I haven't been able to bring it out in Paint shop pro 8 .

I print dates all the time (my wife is a scrapbooker but is constantly behind and the date on the image helps her stay in chronological order for her pages).

Zoombrowser and Easy Print allow this. I beleive it is on the third page of the print setup and is just a press on for date to print and off for it not to print. I beleive you can even change your date types.

This works wonderful on a Canon I950 with the Canon photo pro paper. Only thing i dont like is it does not look like a burned in date like you would have on a 35mm with the date kit. It is very accurate and not blurred which makes it harder for me to mess with my friends head. They try to figure out which image was a 35mm professional print and ones i printed at home. They often can not tell unless that date is on there.

Hope this helps.
