it's hard to get a nice exposure for a dark subject , still you could overexpose this one a bit and see what comes out
I like the first one, like if the cat was posing for the shot :wink:

thanks and yes it is hard to get the right exposer on a dark object such as a black cat. :)

#1 reminds me of a book cover for horror stories! Good effect.

#2 doesn't do anything for me. The cat is just a black mass without eyes.
