Up until seeing this shot, I thought that I did not like long exposures of flowing water, but I now have changed my mind. This is a wonderful B&W -- great tonal range on the rocks and the water is also perfectly exposed for the shutter speed.

Lovely framing, good choice of SS, and great looking B&W conversion.
But I'd clone that strand of grass, right of the frame.

Hi

Excellent composition and the b & w works really well.Well enough for me to load Lightroom up and try converting some of my waterfall shots to mono anyway.

Cheers

Hi Tom;

I'm also not normally a fan of the blurred water-flow effect, but I like this...

I would consider cropping-out the top portion with the man-made wall; I think it spoils the "natural" effect... but that shouldn't detract from a nice crisp shot...

Cheers;

Lee

This is a GREAT shot! What a perfect B&W conversion too, wish I could get mine to look that good. Is this a channel mixer job?

This pic captivates me, there is so much going on, water flowing in all directions, sometimes a lot, somethimes a little. Love it!

i agree with bill boehme (with the one exception that I still kinda like blurred water shots). but everything about this shot is spot on. thanks for sharing.

Outstanding image in every respect. I'm not a big fan of B and W but this one is simply perfect.
