This was at Stages Night Club in Kingston, Ont last night. Not an acoustic fan but this was a great show. Brought his own lights which helped me, although he used lots of smoke which did not help allot.
Full set Matt Good (http://www.z-photography.ca/p52415653)
Enjoy.

#6 for me, great shot and not a lot of noise. Nice work, looks like "fun" lighting.

Thanks, yes it was fun but it was kind of a somber mood show so it was impossible to get any emotion other then the lighting. And you can only take so many pictures of a guy with a guitar in front of a mic, but the lights helped to break up the repetion. :-)

#8 brings back all the frustration i have when clubs insist on using only blue and magenta lighting...it absolutely plays havoc w/ the RAW converter i use (ACR)...

Nice shots.
And, as always, I would be remiss if I didn't comment on his fine taste in guitars...

Someday, I hope to own a Taylor too! Maybe after my L lens collection is complete, yeah right!

Well you know what will make you drool. He had 4 of them in different configurations at the side, plus what he had in his hands.

Yeah I'll drool if one was the Grand Concert nylon string. That's the one I'm after!

Nice set. a bit of noise / artifacts in the first, a bit "very smooth" in #6.
I like #1, 2 and 4 best. On #2 I'ld crop off the leftmost guy and his P&S.
#8 brings back all the frustration i have when clubs insist on using only blue and magenta lighting...it absolutely plays havoc w/ the RAW converter i use (ACR)...
Hahaha, you beat me to it... ;)
Try some settings in the calibration tab, and after that, desaturate blue/purple a lot. You can just drag your mouse downward in the image on a specific color, if you click the "double arrow" symbol in the Hue/sat tab first.

Thanks Rene Man you got a good eye I never even noticed that guy on the left.
As for the desaturation I did not do much on that image as it reflected the mood of the entire show. But I will pull some out and see about brightening up his face a little. Thanks for the tips and observations.

no, you're right, but just an entry level Taylor, I'm not good enough for the pro models!

For what it's worth, Mick Jagger plays one of the lower-priced ones...
