Not exactely D'n'B "feel" IMO.
Nice moments, but less flash would have been nice... And a bit of audience.

yeah they had a very restricted area, it sucked, i wanted to shoot them with some audience but it was ground level and they had a tiny booth :( What do you think i should have done differently for teh DNB feel?

Bit wider shots probabely. Include a bit of audience, more ambient, less flash...
Now it looks more hiphop then DnB. Mostly the clothing and microphone use I think.
So, what kind of DnB is it? Can't find them on LastFM ;)

I like em too, nice job.
Maybe try some with slower shutter speed to get some more ambient (club) light in?

i would say melodic drum N bass mixed with some jungle and also a killer voice. The clothing cant really be helped, i am unsure what they were trying to be for halloween but they were still hot as hell :). I have a hard time dragging the shutter with action type shots, anyone have any pointers? If i set the exposure too long i need alot of flash to freeze the subject. I am not fond of the light trails that everybody loves. Any ideas? Should i have just cranked teh ISO and then try to get ambient light that way and crank down the FEC?
Also how is the composition? is it ok? could it use work?

i think those shots are great. i'd agree with rene damkot on wider angle and lower key for that genre of music. but seems like girls performed in more emotional way and you captured it.

nothing to say you have to do light trails, its your call (unless a picture editor tells you to).
the composition is good imo. and you have some shots showing emotion, also good. :D
as Rene says, would be good to see some kind of crowd shot.

but if i drag the shutter for too long i get light trails because teh girls move around alot. How would i correct this other than crank the ISO?

Like #7, would have been interesting to see one focused on the hands with her a bit blurry.

I'm surprised that DnB has vocals. Who are the other musicians that are sorta cut off? Part of the group? Who pays ... magazines, bands?

The clubs themselves and sometimes hired by the djs and/or bands.
Oh yeah alot of dnb has vocals. Kinda the reason i like this group so much, because she is an amazing singer.
