Canon i9900 or i960 with mac

Does the Canon i9900 or i960 work well with Mac G4 and G5 systems running OSX 10.3 Panther? Any driver problems or other problems limiting it's capabilities? I'm getting ready to buy one and want to make sure that there are no issues. I have had problems with Epson in the past. :?:

The i9900 works just great with the G5 and Panther. Just insert the CD that came with the i9900 and the system does the rest. Just as in any other platform, you'll need to set up your printer parameters when you're about the print from PS or any other software. I've made a few prints from PS CS with the i9900 attached to the G5 and they came out just as nicely as they did when had the printer attached to my PC.

I imagine the same would apply for the i960 but I won't swear by it since I haven't had the opportunity to try it myself.

[Edit: Just make sure that ColorSync (color management) is active for the printer when you do the printing.]
