View Full Version : How can I make this picture better?

I took this picture of my brother when I first bought my camera and was still using it on the green box mode. I've always liked this picture but I can't help that think some PP would make it a lot better.

Could anyone help me out? I like how one side of the face is quite dark and the eye stands out so I don't want to lose that.

Lots of ways to change the high-contrast look, if that's what you have in mind.

Here I brought up the shadows and dropped the highlights, nothing else:

I like the high contrast look. I'm just wondering if those who are skilled with PS (I am not one of those) would be able to do something special with this picture. I like the picture quite a bit and I want to make a print of it for my mother.
