I've never shot a car in "modern digital" times. This was my first go at it with rain and time constraints not letting me scout the best locations.
I am looking to improve here. Suggestions?

first one would be the winner for me if you brightened parts of the car up a bit :). not sure about the distortion on the 3rd shot.

Love the bridge ones.....colors pop, and the car is the star for me.

i like a few of them good job. i wish in the first on though the front of the car and that patch of grass had a bit of lighting even just the car. i think it would keep your eye on the car more.

The first shot was on a road where I had to move the car 3 times for gravel trucks to come through - not the best place to shoot a car! I lost the light during the moves and rushed my positioning.

its still a good shot, was just a suggestion. i know how those traffic rushed spots can be. had to move a car 6 times just to get one shot once. it was all worth it though.

Thanks for the suggestions. I should plan a day when I have time, weather and a location all on my side.
Golden hour light sure is nice. I so rarely get to use it.

Nice shots.
You have the Skytrain and Pattullo bridges in the background. :)
#1 would have been great if there was more ambient light/lighter background, but with the situation you had it's still great.
#3 could use less distortion or maybe more distortion with a lower angle.
That one streak in the sky in #7 is a little distracting as my eye gets drawn up to it rather than the car.
Great set. :)

Nice work mang!
I saw some of those shots you sent me earlier, but I didn't see #1, which is my fav.

I was going for the Top Gear look on #1, but it's my least favourite oddly.

Thanks man! My wife LOVES #2. The jag forums all think #2 is brochure type stuff. they would love apicture of a jag with mud on it even. A little biased.

Not bad Jason, here's a few personal comments:
For 1, GREAT 'ad' like composition, but lighting wasn't ideal.
2nd one is great.
For the 3rd one, again decent composition but I find the bright row of streetlights in the background detracting attention away from the car.
Rest are good.
I REALLY like the composition for shot number 1 though.. just shame about the lighting.

I have a chance to ride on this car once, and it is definitely worth every dollars.
