There is a genuine canon item that can ONLY be used on long FD glass.it is optically very good and cost's an absolute fortune -us$500++ secondhand.
There are cheap optical adapters that also act like a mild teleconverter. They are a waste of money and effort.
If you are keen you can remove the mount of an FD lens and have a EOS mount made up.Some-mostly wide angles can't be done, especially on film cameras.I've done this in a cheap way for experimental purposes but haven't yet got an FD lens that REALLY deserves the time and effort. Many of the tele prime L's would be definite candidates for this.
All in all it's probably not worth doing when you can get a cheap non-optical adapter that let's you use Nikkor glass on EOS cameras.
M42(early pentax, etc),leica R and olympus are also easily adaptable.
This is because all these brands mount further from the film/sensor than EOS ,so there is room to fit an adaptor in between.FD lenses mount CLOSER than EOS
