N.J. Governor, James E. McGreevey, as he appeared at Monmouth Park race
track one week ago, four days before he resigned. With him is his daughter
Morag. In the forground is former N.J. governor Brendan Byrne and news
columnist Jerry Izenberg of the Newark Star-Ledger. I had press credentials for this event, which was part of the Haskell Day festivities, and took this picture during McGreevey's news conference proclaiming an agreement in principle to bring the 2007 Breeders Cup race to Monmouth Park.

I think it's a pretty nice picture. Please tell me if you do, too, or not.

Well, I assume the governor is the main subject of the shot? If so, he's obscured by the two people in the front and he has his eyes closed.

I don't mind the two people in the foreground much, a little more seperation would have been nice, but I'm guessing you aren't in any position to tell people where to stand. I think it would have turned out a little better had he been facing you just a little bit more, and had his eye's open.

I like the photo though, especially with the space you had to work with. Nice work :)

The color balance is not to my taste -- but the/a moment in history is the subject here.

What a world. What a beautiful young lady. What an apparent family disaster.
